New member: Heidi Lightfoot
Heidi Lightfoot is a creative adviser with 30 years’ experience in branding and design. Born in Canada, raised in the UK, Heidi started her design career working for various London agencies including the brilliant Trickett & Webb.
In 2003 she co-founded Together Design, known for their collaboration and craft. She led the company for 20 years, juggling clients and projects, building an amazing team, lecturing, mentoring and judging various design awards.
In 2023, after hankering for a quieter life, Heidi went independent, concentrating on design strategy and creative direction for author brands and publishers. Some of her recent clients include Penguin Books, author Philip Pullman and The Gruffalo.
Heidi also coaches design company founders where you’ll find her banging on about her two favourite subjects – firstly, creativity and craft and, secondly, the support and structure that lets that creativity thrive.
Heidi was proposed for membership by Justin Hobson, and seconded by Alistair Hall.
